After attempting a feat in Montevideo, the peruvian national team will seek to close with a flourish its participation in the Qatar 2022 Qualifying, when they host Paraguay at the National Stadium in Lima. For that last challenge, the ‘Blanquirroja’ will need the support of all its fans, although the cost of attending the stands for said meeting has increased considerably.
While expectations increase with the passing of the hours (and days), this Saturday the price of the tickets for the vital match against the ‘Albirroja’ was announced, which will take place on Tuesday, March 29 at the National Stadium.
The value of tickets for all stands has increased markedly compared to previous duels in which Peru played at home in the current qualifier.
The increase in prices in the Qualifiers
During 2020 and 2021, the peruvian national team he had to face difficult games in the capital without the support of his fans.
Until then, the ‘Blanquirroja’ had only played three games at home without an audience. He lost all three (against Brazil, Argentina and Colombia).
Now, the tickets for that clash between Peru vs Uruguay -the first with an audience- increased compared to the previous Qualifying round for Russia 2018. The explanation could be that after three games without income, some cash needed to be recovered.
That same amount was maintained in the following three home games (against Venezuela, Chile and Bolivia), although with small variations in value mainly from the East, West and Pullman zones.
home games | Lowest price | Highest price |
---|---|---|
Peru vs. Uruguay | 99 soles (Popular Areas) | 660 soles (Pullman) |
Peru vs Venezuela | 99 soles (Popular Areas) | 660 soles (Pullman) |
Peru vs. Chile | 99 soles (Popular Areas) | 700 soles (Pullman) |
Peru vs. Bolivia | 99 soles (Popular Areas) | 700 soles (Pullman) |
Peru vs. Ecuador | 100 soles (Popular Areas) | 750 soles (Pullman) |
Peru vs. Paraguay | 140 soles (Popular Areas) | 990 soles (Platinum box) |
Did the same thing happen in the previous Qualifiers?
The first game that Peru played at home in the last Qualifiers (heading for Russia 2018) was against Chile. The price of the popular ones was 75 soles, while the East varied between 280 and 350 soles and the West between 400 and 480 soles.
Already to the following duel in Lima, against Paraguay, the prices of almost all the zones remained the same, but
That yes, in the other sectors there were some variations until the definitive price was defined in the last dates: East (190 soles lateral – 250 soles central) and West (290 soles lateral – 350 soles central).
We return to the National and maintain the prices because you were always with us. #ArribaPeru #OneBreath ???????? pic.twitter.com/0NM1V8Qph8

in the match of playoff against New Zealand in Lima, prices did change.
Be that as it may, the current price of tickets for the match against Paraguay is relatively exorbitant. But the safest thing is that this will go into the background and the fans will still be present at the National Stadium. The ‘Blanquirroja’ is playing for qualification for the Qatar 2022 World Cup and it is vitally important to encourage it at all costs.
