In a statement, the Tarmeño club indicated that, despite having filed an appeal and accepted the incident that occurred in the clash against the Cusco team, the authorities They decided to reduce the punishment only in economic terms.

““While we accept responsibility and strongly condemn the action that took place, we consider that the sanction imposed disproportionately affects the club and, therefore, the economy of the city of Tarma,” ADT detailed.

For this reason, the institution expressed its disagreement with the decision of the sports authorities, “considering precedents of similar situations in recent years, where the sanctions were not the same or similar.”
